Default Storing gold in your vault

For those of you who don't know and think this would be a good idea, later this week GW is releasing an update to allow this to happen. God I love GW

So does this mean you can also share your gold with your other characters?

Yes. The vault will hold a max of one million gold. Any of your characters post-searing that have paid the one-time 50gp fee can access the vault.

I think this is a very smart move by ANet. Since part of the philosophy behind GW is to minimize grinding, giving access to large resources for your other characters can minimize item/resource grinding. And the player can focus more on gathering skills/exp to build up the characters that way.

I am actually more interested in the "Team Arena" update. So does it mean there are PvP areas (ie other than Tombs) that is not longer purely random?

I had no idea the storage chests were common to all characters on your account.

Yep, but by the time my other dudes get to post-searing, they have a better weapon than the "cool for my druid" weapon already lol. The resource pool does come in very very handy, though. Nothing beats having enough crafting stuff for a new suite of armor for your xyz dude.

What a shame, I deleted one of my characters that had 2600 gold on him because I couldn't transfer it

that's kind of sad...

and instead of making a new topic, I'll ask here... can you buy more storage space in the bank? I don't know why, i just don't like storing my good items in my bags And all of the crafting materials I have take up about 60-70% of the storage box.
